The Patsy (1928)



Marion Davies proves she was made for comedy in this picture about a kid sister who never gets a break - and decides to find her "personality". I love when she does her impressions! No one spoofed the big names better than Marion. Her Lillian Gish had me in stitches. However...Marie Dressler steals this picture, as far as I'm concerned. Her facial expressions, her timing, everything about her is hysterical. I laughed like a big dork through the entire movie - and the end is charming, if predictable.
